HAU Hebbel am Ufer is in constant motion. Learning and continuous development have an impact on all areas of our theatre. In working towards becoming a discrimination-critical, accessible and (ecologically, socially and economically) sustainable institution, all staff members receive further training in workshops and consultations with outside experts. Important thematic input for this comes from three HAU-internal working and development groups, which operate on an interdisciplinary level and across all levels to advance the processes in the areas of diversity, low barriers and sustainability. Involvement in the groups takes place on a voluntary basis and as part of regular work. The overarching goal is to keep HAU holistically structurally sustainable as an institution in addition to its artistic direction and programming.
