Anja Quickert

Biography

Dramaturge, journalist, researcher. She writes a.o. fort he spezial interst magazine "Theater heute". As a dramaturge she has worked on projects and at the Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz. Since 2011 she has been the managing director of the International Heiner Müller Society and is responsible for its regular series of events She has worked on the dramaturgical and production aspects of various workshops of the society, co-responsible for the international conference "The Riddle of Freedom" on Heiner Müller and conceived and realised the theatre festival "Heiner Müller" at HAU Hebbel am Ufer 2016. Since March 2018, she has been a research assistant in the DFG research group "Crisis Structure of the Arts" and at the University of Trier.
