Black Cracker
Biography
Ellison Renee Glenn alias Black Cracker lives in Berlin and Lausanne (France) and works in New York City as well. He works as a producer, MC and writer, and has collaborated with musicians and bands like Cocorosie, Creep, Bunny Rabbit and Grand Pianoramax. His music is influenced by the bands Dipset and Blackbox. He is known above all for his energetic stage appearances, and has already been seen with Slick Rick, Grimes, Trust. His work has been written about in the New York Times and in Vice Magazine. At HAU Hebbel am Ufer he has been seen in “Die Revue” as part of “Männlich Weiß Hetero” and as a performer in “T/HE/Y” by Josep Caballero Garcia. “T/HE/Y” will be revived in 2016.
