Cecilie Ullerup Schmidt

Biography

Cecilie Ullerup Schmidt, born in Denmark in 1982, is a performance artist living in Berlin since 2008. She studied comparative literature in Copenhagen and Applied Theatre Studies in Giessen. Since the autumn of 2011 she has been an artistic research associate in the BA programme Dance, Context, Choreography at HZT Berlin. Her works have been made in collaboration with Monster Truck, Boris Nikitin, Matthias Meppelink and deufert&plischke. Along with the Swiss performer Lucie Tuma she founded the artist duo Chuck Morris.
