Ché, an artist from Detroit, began her career in 2014 at the BET Hip Hop Awards, where she was the first female winner of the HOT 16 competition. Since then she has released three albums as well as her recent EP “CHÉNGES” (changes). The subtle strings and the melodic tempo of her music are reminiscent of reinterpretations of ‘90s Neos. Ché’s artistic activity is varied: she directs her own visuals, takes part in the production processes of her music and not only speaks about social injustice, but also clarifies how important it is to act accordingly. DJ Stacyé J was born in Detroit, where she also grew up. She has performed as an opener and as a DJ for many big names in hop hop, including YG, Ab-Soul, Waka Floka and Curren$y. As a DJ she has appeared with Ché at BET’s 106 & Park and at the BET Experience. Stacyé J has founded a platform to support young female DJs, bringing some of the best DJs on board.
