Futur II Konjunktiv

Biography

Futur II Konjunktiv works on investigating social and political circumstances and values of the present and future, as well as on developing new narrative forms. They are attempting to understand forms of communal and individual being–as a chorus, isolated thoughts, or multitude–and to ground this in the theatre, the body, and language as a machine or a dialogue. The group was founded in 2014 by the director Johannes Wenzel, the writer/dramaturge Matthias Naumann and the set/costume designer Katrin Wittig with the production “Fatzer – eine Zeremonie” at the Ballhaus Ost/Ringlokschuppen Ruhr.
