Laurie Penny is the most important voice among young feminists in Great Britain and Germany. Born in London in 1986, she now lives in England and the USA. She studied English literature at Oxford and writes for the New Statesman, for New Inquiry, on her own blog, plus on Twitter, where she has gathered 125,000 followers. After her two non-fiction books Meat Market: Female Flesh under Capitalism (2012) and Unspeakable Things: Sex, Lies and Revolution (2015), now her first literary work is appearing in German with Edition Nautilus: Babys machen und andere Storys.
