Lea Schneidermann studied at the Institute for Applied Theater Studies at the Justus Liebig University in Giessen from 2007 to 2015. In March 2015 she premiered her final project “Pixel Heroes” at Mousonturm in Frankfurt. Together with Arnita Jaunsubrēna and Kim Willems she has been developing performance projects under the label Eliza Rescue Team since 2010. The works created so far, “Sehnsucht hinter Masken” and “Der souveräne Mensch – warum Juwelen glänzen und Kieselsteine grau sind”, have been shown in Offenbach, Frankfurt, Mannheim, Paris and Hamburg. “Der souveräne Mensch” was awarded the jury prize at the Körber Studio for Young Directors in 2013. Since 2015 Lea Schneidermann has been living in Berlin. Alongside her own projects, she also works as a light designer in the area of dance and performance.
