Marie-Hélène Gutberlet

Biography

Marie-Hélène Gutberlet, born in 1966, works as an independent curator, publicist and film scholar at the interface between cinema and art in the area of European-African connections. Gutberlet is the co-founder of the experimental film series “reel to real” and co-initiator of the project “Migration & Media”. Over the course of this project she has made the exhibitions “Shoe Shop” and “The Space Between Us”. From 2013-15 she and Tobias Hering were the artistic directors of the film archive project “Visionary Archive”.
