Michael Turinsky

Biography

Michael Turinsky, who has been physically disabled since birth, lives and works in Vienna as a choreographer, dancer and theorist. Turinsky has already collaborated with Sonja Browne, Andreas Constantinou, Barbara Kraus, Bert Gstettner, Teresa Vittucci, Claire Vivianne Sobottke, among others. His choreographed works include “Rücksicht auf Darstellbarkeit” (2008/2009), “Narcissus Project” (2012/2013), “heteronomous male” (2013), “Micro Boom”, and “my body, your pleasure”. HAU Hebbel am Ufer presents this work in 2015 as part of the international NO LIMITS theatre festival.
