Nir Vidan

Biography

Nir Vidan is a choreographer and performer, living both in Berlin and in Tel-Aviv-Jaffa. Since 2007 Nir Vidan works as a choreographer, performer and dramaturge in the field of Contemporary Theatre and Dance. His recent stage works were shown in Intimadance Festival (Tel Aviv 2017), DanceArena Festival (Jerusalem 2016), Dance in Response Festival (Hamburg 2016), Room Dance Festival (Jaffa and Jerusalem 2014), and in independent platforms in Berlin, Amsterdam and Tel Aviv-Jaffa. As a performer he collaborates continuously with the choreographers Adi Shildan (as part of Nowhere Androgynous Collective), Isabelle Schad, Clement Layes, Ari Teperberg, Miriam Jacob, Yael Tal and others. Nir Vidan is a graduate of the BA program for Tanz, Kontext and Choreographie, HTZ (Berlin, 2015), B.Ed. Dance-Theatre program at the Kibbutzim College of Education (Tel-Aviv, 2011) and the annual technique& repertoire workshop at Yasmeen Godder Company (Jaffa, 2010).
