Sadaat Munir

Biography

Sadaat Munir is a film producer, curator and critic who grew up in Denmark as the son of Pakistani parents. He graduated from South Denmark University with a degree in communications. Munir directs the production company Madari Films and currently curates a bi-national film and dialogue festival, which focuses on the socio-political situation of people with transgender identities, homosexuals and people of colour in Pakistan and Denmark. Alongside his work as producer and curator, Munir is also active as a jury member in several international film festivals. In 2015 Sadaat Munir was invited to Berlin for Berlinale Talents.
