The performative publication “The Words of the Arty Class” examines intersectional class and racism in the art field. The starting point is forms of speechlessness in a society in which criticism of injustice too often goes unheard. The magazine launch presents artistic and theoretical contributions, social criticism and gossip, including “Gaslight Gatekeep Girlboss” by Corç George Demir.

The first edition of "Words of the Arty Class" was an Artist Lab organised by the Fonds Darstellende Künste. The nationwide Artist Labs are a programme of the Fonds Darstellende Künste, financed by the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media as part of NEUSTART KULTUR.
