Ferox Tempus – Terror at its best

  • Performance
  • Dance
English /  With German surtitles /  approx. 75 mins.

Luanda Casella draws on pop culture formats for stories that speculate on current social issues. The Belgium-based Brazilian author and performer largely relies on the imaginative power of the audience. In the dystopian world of “Ferox Tempus”, (Latin for “wild times”) we are in a video game in 2060, in which ecological collapse has become reality. Cities have sunk and a few survivors cling to the ruins of civilisation. Lua, played by Luanda Casella herself, practices surviving in this hostile environment.
