Anja Lechner & François Couturier

Moderato Cantabile

  • Music

The cellist Anja Lechner and the pianist François Couturier present their own arrangements of selected works from Georges I. Gurdjieff, Komitas Vardapet, Federico Mompou, compositions by Couturier himself and additional music by Anouar Brahem. The duo not only enchants with their free interpretations and improvisations – but also with a repertoire that brings together Orient and Occident, both in metaphor and in music history.
