Peter Engelmann, founder of the Passagen Verlag, speaks with the French philosopher and writer Hélène Cixous about the significance of writing, text and language in her work and life. A political dimension can be seen above all in her dramatic works, which were created in collaboration with the director Ariane Mnouchkine. At the event, Cixous and Engelmann will pay special attention to their mutual friend Jacques Derrida.                 

A joint event of HAU Hebbel am Ufer and the Passagen Verlag. In cooperation with the French embassy in Berlin and the Institut français.
