Krishna's Elite

  • Theatre
  • Performance

Ever since Anshu Jain took over as Co-CEO of the Deutsche Bank, German economic papers have been speculating about the inscrutable man with a rucksack and a suit. Reason enough to cast a glance into how future elites are cultivated. In preparation for its current production, the Flinntheater, founded in Kassel in 1992, did research at the renowned Indian Institute of Management (IIM) in Bangalore, condensing the material with international performers into an evening that is as entertaining as it is informative. “Krishna’s Elite” provides us with an impression of the ordinary lives of the highly gifted people in India who qualify for lucrative and influential jobs all over the world. Even before the performance begins, the audience has to complete one of those dreaded admission tests. After passing the test, the spectators get access to the campus of the IIM and thus also potentially to leadership positions in global corporations. “Use the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita, one of the central writings of Hinduism, for your career! Learn from Krishna how to fight without having one eye on success!”
