Burak Bektaş was shot dead in front of the Britz hospital in Berlin-Neukölln on the night of 4 to 5 April 2012. Since 2022, a parliamentary committee of enquiry has been investigating the many unanswered questions regarding a series of right-wing extremist offences in Neukölln. This committee has been looking into the Burak Bektaş case since April. Various guests are now discussing at HAU2 how things can continue after 12 years without official clarification, but with numerous solidarity organisations among relatives and victims of right-wing, racist and anti-Semitic violence.
