Capete înfierbântate / Erhitzte Gemüter

  • Theatre

"Capete înfierbântate" by Mihaela Michailov and David Schwartz is a seven-part monologue about the peaceful protest by students and oppositional figures against the corrupt schemes around then President Iliescu. The protest was brutally suppressed by law enforcement forces and masses of miners that had been brought in. The so-called miners' uprising (mineriad) in June 1990 in Bucharest is still a traumatic event in Romanian history.
