Feminisms in Transition

Mit Priya Basil & Lina Meruane

  • Dialogue
English /  approx. 90 mins.

Given its various forms and geographical manifestations, the feminist movement is full of contradictions. Authors Priya Basil and Lina Meruane will read from Meruane’s new text “The Colloquy of the Bitches” and discuss current feminist debates: about how femininity can be appreciated despite the threat of objectification and sexual assault, about representations of violence in art and gender-affirming transition, and about what justice could mean in a feminist sense.
