In the series “Plattenspieler”, Thomas Meinecke invites various partners to talk about music, their cultural assumptions, their visual preferences, and the stories that one can experience along the way. The guest of this edition is the musician Rabih Beaini aka Morphosis, who was born in Lebanon and now lives in Berlin. Known for his imaginative techno productions, he uses his label Morphine Records to investigate unexpected lines of connections between the margins of current club music and the electronic avant-garde. Beaini is also invited as guest co-curator for CTM 2016 Festival.

For the HAU event series “Plattenspieler" Thomas Meinecke invites guests on a regular basis.
