Jetzt und bis zum Sieg – Kunst und Propaganda

With: Bassem Fayad und Ridha Tlili. Moderation: Irit Neidhardt

  • Dialogue

Since 2011 there have been numerous art exhibitions and cultural programs in Germany about the Arab Spring. Artists have often been assigned the task of politically analysing and explaining the upheavals, and the art that they have presented, above all the video work, has often been propagandistic. A fact that has not been included in the debate. At the podium discussion Jetzt und bis zum Sieg - Kunst und Propaganda, the focusis on propaganda. Irit Neidhardt (Berlin) will speak with directors Basasem Fayad (Beirut) and Ridha Tlili (Tunis) about their own film work, both in terms of propaganda and art.
