NOW

  • Film

Created in 2017 for the Society of North American Goldsmiths annual conference, in the video “NOW,” Tiff Massey discusses the ideas explored throughout her career – the iconic material culture of 1980’s hip-hop, observances of class and race, and African standards of economic vitality – in a performance that reflects on the journey to her current practice of creating, that ranges from wearable to large scale sculpture, design, music and installation.
