Tragödie und dramatisches Theater

  • Dialogue

Fifteen years after his book “Postdramatic Theatre” was released, the world-renowned theatre theorist Hans-Thies Lehmann has now published his new book, “Tragödie und Dramatisches Theater,” with Alexander Verlag Berlin. Here Lehmann develops a theory of tragedy that has been progressing in Europe from antiquity to the postdramatic present, asking whether there can still be a tragic experience in today’s theatre.

In collaboration with Alexander Verlag (Berlin).
