Ensemblekollektiv Berlin

  • Music

This year Ultraschall Berlin – Festival for New Music presents at HAU Hebbel am Ufer a broad spectrum of contemporary music. The Ensemblekollektiv Berlin successfully combines four ensembles into a single orchestral body. The second concert by Neue Vocalsolisten and Sonar Quartett is dedicated to the links between literature and music, with vocal works by Oscar Bianchi, Stefan Keller, and a double encounter between Sergej Newski and the writer Michael Lentz. The third concert is completely given over to the timbre-eccentricities of the Swiss composer Michael Pelzel, who has been a guest of the Berlin Artists Programme (BKP) of the DAAD for the last few months. In a joint concert by Ultraschall Berlin and the BKP, the Klangforum Wien will play three large-scale ensemble works.
