Percussionist Valentina Magaletti composed “A Queer Anthology of Drums” in 2020 over several home recording sessions as the documentation of a journey that never took place. For HAU4, she is developing a cinematic equivalent of her album, which she dedicates to the queer. In her short film, she translates the multi-layered sound levels into intimate perceptions of everyday occurrences.
