Part of the festival "Berlin bleibt!"
By sinking into lazy bags upholstered with real estate images, the visitors at Projektraum urbaner Aktion can leave an imprint of their bodies – anyone can shape them. Is this a kind of soft architecture, a mellowed real estate landscape in miniature, a cityscape that has shrunken down to the size of kids? The work Weiche WohnWelten, that Ulrike Bernard is developing in collaboration with Vincent Grunwald since 2016, is part of the setting of Projektraum at the former Post-Office. What was once and now is a store of value in the context of real estate development has become the brief, supple asset of lazy bags.
