Das klingt alles nach Himmel für mich – Queere Nachlässe

Part of “Queer History Month Berlin”

  • Dialogue
German /  English /  approx. 120 mins.

We're beginning to think we've lost our focus. Where has the joy gone? We have analysed and justified everything. Now it's over: We are queer, period. The starting point is THAT. But what's nice about it? Why is it worth living like this? On this evening as part of Queer History Month, authors Evan Tepest and Duygu Agal briefly leave out the conditions of the time, but don't lose sight of them. They read together from archives, from old and new lives, fictional and autobiographical, self-referential and in correspondence. In doing so, they search for the joy that they both seem to have lost and hope for at the same time: Perhaps it was never gone after all?
