The aim of “The Allure of Gold and Other Solidarity Stories” is to meditate on artistic symbolic expressions of geopolitical solidarities. At YAAM will be a discursive programme with sonic lectures, screenings, installations, improvisations and decodings and a Club Night. And the exhibition at HAU2 serves as a site where a billboard, prints and interactive installation investigate the materiality of solidarities, such as banners, letters, music videos and publications. It forms part of the larger project, Thath’i Cover Okestra Vol. 5, which taking place on 15 and 16 June at HAU2 in the form of a concert.
