Andreas Liebmann

Birthday!

  • Performance

“Birthday!” is a celebration, a commemoration of the dead, a transfer of knowledge. The host is dead and gets “narrated in.” He fills the room and the heads. Wine is drunk. The protagonists doggedly hang on their ability to make merry until it collapses and the narrator disappears, making room for something new. With this evening, Andreas Liebmann continues crossing the borders between documentary, fiction and social production.

Produktion: Andreas Liebmann. Koproduktion: HAU Hebbel am Ufer (Berlin), Rote Fabrik (Zuurich) und Auawirleben (Bern). With the support of Hauptstadtkulturfonds, Präsidialabteilung der Stadt Zürich,  Ernst Göhner Stifung, Georges & Jenny Bloch Stiftung and Migros Kulturprozent.
