Woanders – Concert with texts by Thomas Brasch

With Masha Qrella, Andreas Bonkowski, Chikara Aoshima and Tarik Aslan
Guests: Tarwater, Chris Imler, Dirk von Lowtzow and Marion Brasch

  • Music

Masha Qrella sets Thomas Brasch to music. A rare stroke of luck. At HAU Hebbel am Ufer, where the premiere of the music performance “Woanders” was released as a co-production in 2019, three years later it will be brought to the stage as a concert. In between lie a successful album, an excellent radio play, countless live performances, a translation of the work into Turkish and a pandemic that finally led us into a “stacking crisis”. It's nice, says Maurice Summen from Staatsakt, that we get to be “somewhere else” (“woanders”) once again this evening.
