“Asutorito Endoruwaito with Astrid Endruweit” is the third solo conceived for Astrid Endruweit by Michael Laub. It follows her evolution as an individual and a performer over a period of 16 years starting with “pigg in hell” (2000), in which she made her stage debut. In 2004 Laub staged her ‘portrait’ in a piece called “alone”, in which videos of her own making were included. Although still referring to her ongoing biography as well as her recurring interest in various forms of disability, Japanese theatre, film and men, “Asutorito Endoruwaito” leaps into fictional extensions of the various aspects of her own and the other characters that she portrays. She attempts to make use of the experiences and skills she has accumulated over the years, ranging from trash to elegance in this new intimate and public performance.
