This episode of Phantasm and Politics features the project Truth Is Concrete. This marathon of events took place at the “steirischer herbst” festival in September 2012, asking whether art should be a tool to change the world, rather than simply reflecting it. Now co-curator and dramaturge Florian Malzacher and other participants will present a book covering this project: “Truth is Concrete. A Handbook for Artistic Strategies in Real Politics“ (published in April by Sternberg Press).
