Andros Zins-Browne

The Lac of Signs

Limited seating, reservations recommended

  • Dance
40 min

With his holographic installation “The Lac of Signs,” Andros Zins-Browne investigates how narrativity and dance might be reconnected today. Derived from an original libretto, employing a cast of ignorant narrators, unauthorized characters and misleading Google searches, Zins-Browne and Chrysa Parkinson have restaged the story of the ballet classic “Swan Lake” as a solo.

Production: wpZimmer (Antwerpen). Coproduction: HAU Hebbel am Ufer, Atalante (Göteborg), Dansstationen (Malmö), MDT (Stockholm), Kaaitheater (Brüssel), House On Fire with support of the Culture Programme of the European Union. Supported by Vlaamse Gemeenschapscommissie, the City of Antwerp, Départs, ActOral (Marseille).
