Salia Sanou

Clameur des arènes / Clamour of the Arenas

  • Dance
70 minutes

“Eat or be eaten, fight or die, push forward or fall back, resist or disappear” – for Salia Sanou life is a sequence of battles. In “Clameur des arènes” he takes up the topic of violence once again, savouring the battle that is at the same time sport and ritual. Sanou shows a play made up of gazes and marches, in the midst of an arena reminiscent of a sports venue.
